トラモントのお昼営業前に、自転車に乗ったマスターが「本当に一日で花が落ちちゃうけど、これは今朝咲いたところだから」とお届けくださった夏椿。
The owner of our favourite Italian restaurant delivered Japanese stewartia. And he mentioned, “Though these are single-day blossoms and will fall within a day, these specific ones just bloomed this morning, so you’ll be able to enjoy them throughout today.”
虫喰いの葉に涼を感じました。ほかにいくつかつぼみもついた枝だったので、切り分けて店内に飾っています。これから咲くかな。
それにしてもこの炎天下にもかかわらず、急いでお花をお届けくださったマスターに頭が下がる思いです。
