スウェーデンに暮らすアンナさんが「Japan／Sweden」と題して送ってくれた写真は、彼女の家の一角の様子でした。
ろうそくが載っているのは日本からおみやげに持って行った鉄製の古い手燭。その奥にはアンナさんお気に入りの地元の陶芸作家の作品が飾られています。陶芸作家の女性はいまも活躍中だそうで、アンナさんは彼女の作品と図録を大切にしています。
先月、アンナさんと一緒に散歩しているときに初めて通った道で「ここが彼女の家なのよ」と教えてもらった、小さくてかわいらしい家やそのあたりの風景をこの写真を眺めながら思い出しました。
そしてもちろん、日本からのおみやげがお気に入りのひとつに加わっていることも誇らしく思います🕯
Anna sent me a photo ‘Japan/Sweden’ last day. She decorates the corner of a room with old Japanese iron candlestick with handle and the work that her favourite contemporary potter made. I believe that special objects stimulate our curiosities more.
I remember that Anna told me about the lovely house that the potter lived in when we took a walk with Charlie last month.
